LATEST TRAININGS & LECTURES
Dr. Sastry is renowned on the national and international level for robotic-assisted joint replacement surgery and surgical techniques in orthopaedics. Board-Certified and Fellowship-Trained, Dr. Sastry has led the way as a pioneer in his field – not only in the Northeast, but across the country as well. He was selected as one of fifteen surgeons in the world to teach the MAKO Robotics-Assisted procedure to colleagues from across the world, and he continues to educate other orthopaedic surgeons through lectures and live demonstrations in robotics and the Anterior Hip approach.
SEACOAST ANTERIOR HIP
A minimally-invasive, muscle-sparing approach for patients with arthritis of the hip. Direct Anterior Hip Replacement allows the surgeon access to the joint without detaching muscles around it – leaving more healthy tissue intact and accelerating patient recovery.
MAKO ROBOTIC PARTIAL & TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENT
The future is here. Introducing robotic-assisted joint replacement surgery by MAKO, the latest technology in orthopaedic surgery for patients with arthritis of the knee. Powered by the Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopedic System (RIO), this cutting-edge procedure yields maximum results in both total and partial knee replacement, with a customized surgical plan based on your unique anatomy.
